ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE EXISTING
RYAN WHITE III CONTRACT IN THE FORM OF ADDITIONAL GRANT
FUNDING FROM TARRANT COUNTY THROUGH THE TARRANT
COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT ACCEPTING THE SAME;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS I the Wichita Falls Wichita County Public Health District has been
offered additional revenue from Tarrant County through the Tarrant County Health
Department and
WHEREAS, oral health care is a significant factor in the overall health of HN
clients, and
WHEREAS, the Health District and Tarrant County wish to enter into a contract
for 10 additional units of Oral Health for HIV clients.
WHEREAS, the approval of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to
the adoption of the 2004 -2005 budget.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SECT ION 1. There is hereby appropriated in the Special Revenue Fund $1,250.
SECTI 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ORDINANCE was passed was open to the Public as required bylaw
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 7" day of December, 2004.
