Resolution Authorizing The City Manager To Apply For And Accept A
National Infrastructure Investments Grant From The U.S. Department
Of Transportation Under The Fiscal Year 2010 Appropriations Act For
The Construction Of A New Passenger Terminal Facility At The
Wichita Falls Municipal Airport
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has identified the need for the construction
of a new passenger terminal facility at the Wichita Falls Municipal Airport through its
strategic and airport master planning process; and
WHEREAS, possible funding for such project may be available from the
Department of Transportation under National Infrastructure Investments grants (also
known as "TIGER II"), an element of the Fiscal Year 2010 Appropriations Act.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute all documents necessary to
pursue, apply for, and accept a National Infrastructure Investments grant from the U.S.
Department of Transportation, under the Fiscal Year 2010 Appropriations Act, for the
construction of a new passenger terminal facility at the Wichita Falls Municipal Airport.
