Resolution confirming appointment to the Firefighters and Police
Officers’ Civil Service Commission
WHEREAS, the Firefighters and Police Officers’ Civil Service Commission is
established by state law, specifically, Section 143.006 of the Texas Local Government
Code; and,
WHEREAS, it is a three-member board, whose members are appointed by the
City Manager, with confirmation by the City Council; and,
WHEREAS, the City Manager requests the confirmation of the appointment of
__Jim Heiman__ to the Firefighters and Police Officers’ Civil Service Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The appointment of __Jim Heiman _ to the Firefighters and Police Officers’ Civil
Service Commission is hereby confirmed.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 1st day of December, 2015.
