Resolution confirming appointment of a member to the Board of
Directors of the 4B Sales Tax Corporation
WHEREAS, the 4B Sales Tax Corporation is established by state law,
specifically, the Development Corporation Act of 1979 Secti on, Chapter 501 of the
Local Government Code; and,
WHEREAS, it is a seven-member board, whose members are appointed by the
City Council; and,
WHEREAS, there is currently a vacancy for one member of the Board of
Directors.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The appointment of ___Michael Mills __ to the 4B Sales Tax Corporation Board
of Directors is hereby confirmed, with a term to expire July 31, 2016.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 1st day of December, 2015.
