ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE SPECIAL
REVENUE FUND FOR GRANT REVENUE FROM THE
TRANSPORTATION SECURITY ADMINISTRATION FOR THE
REIMBURSEMENT OF LAW ENFORCEMENT .SERVICES AT THE
WICHITA FALLS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT', FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED
WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichta Falls is required to provide law enforcement
services at the Wichita Falls Municipal Airport during regular operating hours', and
WHEREAS, the Transportation Security Administration has offered a grant to the
City for the reimbursement of the law enforcement services provided at the Wichita
Falls Municipal Airport: and
WHEREAS, the Transportation Security Administration grant offer to the City of
Wichita Falls is $136,323.135 for the period of performance of October 1, 2004 through
September 30, 2005.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SECTIO 1 . There is hereby appropriated into the Special Revenue Fund
$136,324.00 from the Transportation Security Administration for the above described
services.
SECTION 3 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
