Resolution Awarding Bid For The Construction Of 5,000 Linear Feet
Of Fencing At The City Landfill To Central Oklahoma Fence In The
Amount Of $69,895.00
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
construction of 5,000 linear feet of 8-foot chain link fence, and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on April 30, 2010, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to proceed with the fourth phase of the 5-
year landfill fence project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid for the construction of 5,000 linear feet of 8-foot chain link fence is
awarded to Central Oklahoma Fence in the amount of $69,895.00, and City staff are
authorized to execute contract documents with said entity in accordance with the bid
specifications.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 18 day of May, 2010.
