ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AMENDING PART II OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
AT CHAPTER 22, BUILDINGS AND BUILDING REGULATIONS AT
ARTICLE Il, BUILDING CODES, SECTION 22 -26; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAIN.
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the International Building Code, 2000, as
Ordinance #90 -2002, and
WHEREAS, the Chapters of the Code to be included were in error and it was
intended to include Chapter 33, Safeguards During Construction, Chapter 34, Existing
Structures, and Chapter 35, Referenced Standards.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL Of= THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SE CTION 1 . Part II of the Code of Ordinances, at Chapter 22, Buildings and
Building Regulations, Article II, Building Codes, Section 22 -26, Adopted, is .amended to
read as follows:
Section 22 -26, Adopted.
The following Code, published by the International Code Council, is adopted by
reference as though it were copied fully in this section: International Building Code 2000
edition, including Chapters 1 -35, and Appendices F and I.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
