Resolution Adopting The Wichita Falls Municipal Airport Master Plan
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into an agreement with URS
Corporation on April 21, 2009 to develop an Airport Master Plan for Wichita Falls
Municipal Airport;
WHEREAS, an Airport Master Plan is necessary to provide the City of Wichita
Falls with a flexible and cost-effective development program to accommodate current
and future aviation demand requirements and improvements at Wichita Falls Municipal
Airport; and
WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration encourages the development of
an Airport Master Plan to obtain federal grants.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Wichita Falls Municipal Airport Master Plan, which is on file with and
available for public examination at the Office of the City Clerk and available via the
City's website, is hereby adopted.
