Ordinance No. 48-2015
Ordinance making an appropriation to the Special Revenue Fund for
the Women, Infants, and Children Program in the amount of $31,636
received from the Department of State Health Services and
authorizing the City Manager to execute contract accepting same.
WHEREAS, the Health District and the Department of State Health Services
desire to enter into a contract for continued public health services; and,
WHEREAS, approval of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to the
adopti on of the 2015 - 2016 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
There is hereby appropriated in the Special Revenue Fund $31,636 for the
Women, Infants, and Children Program, and the City Manager is authorized to enter
into a contract with the Department of State Health Services for the Wichita Falls -
Wichita County Health District.
