Ordinance making an appropriation to the Special Revenue Fund for
the Accreditation Support Initiative Grant in the amount of $14,905
received from the National Association of County and City Health
Officials and authorizing the City Manager to execute contract
accepting same
WHEREAS, the Health District and the National Association of County and City
Health Officials desire to enter into a contract for continued public health services; and,
WHEREAS, approval of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to the
adoption of the 2015-16 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
There is hereby appropriated in the Special Revenue Fund $14,905 for the
Accreditation Support Initiative grant, and the City Manager is authorized to enter into a
contract, whose form has been approved by the City Attorney, with the National
Association of County and City Health Associations for the Wichita Falls-Wichita
County Health Distri ct.
