Resolution allowing the City Manager to execute a Signatory Airline
Operating Agreement and Terminal Building Lease at the Wichita
Falls Regional Airport with American Airlines
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to provide commercial airline
service at Wichita Falls Regional Airport to the citizens of this region, and;
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to generate revenue to offset the
cost of operations, maintenance, and facilities for the Wichita Falls Regional Airport,
and;
WHEREAS, American Airlines has indicated that it desires to enter into an
airline operating agreement and terminal building lease with the City of Wichita Falls.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to execute lease and concession agreements,
with changes thereto in a form approved by the City Attorney , with American Airlines.
