Resolution rejecting the sealed bids submitted on the old Fire
Station #8 located at 4415 Miller Road and opened on October 1,
2015
WHEREAS, the property at 4415 Miller Road was offered for sale by sealed bid
to the general public in accordance with TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE §272.001
Notice of Sale; and,
WHEREAS, the bids submitted were below the appraised value ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the City’s best interest to retain the
property at this time for potential future development by the City’s Parks Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City of Wichita Falls has elected to exercise their rights to reject all bids and
retain the property at 4415 Miller Road.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 3rd day of November, 2015.
