SECTION VI, That any person, firm corporation or association

goods, wares and norchandioe of any description or character, or for the
condj;ct therein of any business vwithin any residence portion of the city of
,"'ichita, Valls as del"'ined herein, or viho shall prooeed with the"Lcan;truct ion
of o-ach bnildinC,, without first applyinf.,' for and being, granted a perrii' in
compliance with the terns of this orditic)-i-Ice, shall be decraed 6-uilty ofta
misdemeanor and upon conviction in the corporation Court shall be fined
not less than Fifty Dollars (�?'50-00) nor more than -cio iiundred (,200100)
Dollars for each and every act done acid porfc):-raed tovard the erection.con-
struction and location of such business ho-use, business stnicli:'_re, lumber
yard or the like without such permit shall constitute a sonarate offense
and each and every day that any such i.vrson is onga' ped in constructing sutoh
building without such permit, and each and every day such building is per-
mitted to remtLin in such residence portion of the Uity, shall constitute x
a sonarate and distinct offence.
SECTIOET VII. That all ordinances and parts of vrdi ianccs in
conflict herewith are hereby ex�,')rcoely repealed.
This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage
as prescribed by the charter and ordinances of tile said City.
