FOR A PZiALTY. BE IT ORDIIINED BY THE BOARD OF AIDERM" OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXASt ARTICLE 1, It shall be unlawful for any person,, firm, corporation,, or association of persons, or the agents, servants, or employees thereof, to move any house building or structure of any kind on over, or upon any street, s1dewalkt alley, or public square in the 81ty of Wichita Fallso Texas, without first having obtained a written permit from the City Engineer, of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas. Said permit shall be in writing and shall give the name and residence of the applicant,, and the imme and residence of the owner of said house, building or structure shall give the, route over which he proposts and agrees to move at said house, building, or structure, its pros,:.-.,at location and the location to which he expects to move the same, it shall provide that the applicant shall use all reasonable dispatch and care in moving said house, building or structure; that the pavement or surface of any street alley,, ailewalk,, or public square shall not be injured or damaged.1 no wires or wiring shall be distunbed or interfered with unless a representative of the City and the owner of said wires or wiring shall be present to superintend the moving and replacing of said ,�ires or wiring; that the traffio sball not be blocked or interfered with on any street, sidewalk„ alley or public square over which said houseo building or structure is being movedl and In no event shall arry house, building or structure be left or remain on any street sidewalk alley or public -square more than 24 hours, And said applicant shall agr'eo and obligate himself to fully protect and hold haraloss ,the City of Wlchita Falls , Texas, against any lose or damage by reason of said permit and Minds hims-elf to defend at his own expeuso any suit or suits action or actions that may be filed against the City by reason ol granting said permit. And he further agrees t I o repair at his own expense any damage done to said streets, sidewalks, alleys, or public square by reason of moving said house, building or structure over the sumo, Whenever the route over which the house is to be moved Includes any portion of a paved street, wood planks of width and thickness, to ,be approved by the City Engineer, shall, be placed under the rollers in order to protect the pavement* A fee of $5*00 shall be charged by the City for each permit issued under this ordinance. ARTICLE 11* Any perzon, firm or corporation making app- 11cations for permits to move houses, buildings or structures of any kind, under the provisions of this ordinance shall enter into a good and solvent bond with two or more solvent sureties payable to the City of Wichita Falls Texaso conditioned# upon the faithful perforzanoo of the provisions of this Ordinano*t in the sum of Two Thousand (2000) Dollars, which brand,. shall be approved by the City Engino­*ro This bond for Two Thousand ($2,000,00) Dollars will be sufficient for moving all houses, buildings or other structures done by the persoll firm or corporation enterIng into same, until said bond is forfeited by'fail- ing to live up to the provisions of this ordinance, In lieu of the Two Thousand ($2 000.00) Dollar band, the applioant may enter into a similarly oondItioned bond for One Hun- drod 1$100,00) Dollars for each and every house., building or other stru- cture to bo moved, ARTICLE 1110 Any persm, firm, oorporation or association a I If , persons, or the agents,, servants or wpl6yoes thor*of,, violating this ordfa*ranco shall be deemed guilty of a misd*meanar, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not exceeding One hundred ($100) Dollars.
