ed, any kind or character of sign, which projects from the building
N- line for a distance greeter than 6 inches, other than a temporary
r cloth sign, or an illuminating electrical sign.

(e ) The signs must be substantially bracketed to the bui;d--
ing with at least two brackets. The bracket s must be of steel

least the length of the sign. if the sign is greater than two
feet deep there must be at let st two additional cables for

(g) The supporting cables or brackets for the signs must
not be at trched to or supported from wood plugs; approved tog-
glee or expansion bolts must be used, or the Tods to which the

ed on the rear side in a substantial manner to a plate, or anchor.
(h) Fach and every support for all signs must have a ten-
sile strength at least four times greriter than that required for

(j ) Branch wires of like polarities inside the sign
may be bunched if placed in approved flexible tubing, or made into
a cable thoroughly taped and then painted, provided, that there are
no splices or joints. The ends of t he,t ubing shall be taped and
painted. Exposed wiring shall be placed in approved oonduiet .
(k) Wires must be supported every 12 inches, where op-
posite polarities of circuits are less than. one and one--half, in., Sew-

(1 ) The wires must be supported on Porcelain knobs or cle-�ts
which separate them at leabt one-half inah from the nearest cir-
cuit
(m) The wires must be spliced or joined in an alproved manner
and must be covered with an insulating tape to original thickness

Of Aldermen, and the Board of Aldermen shall thereul an issue

eenting the owner of such sign, to appear before said body at a

and in their judgment the sign should be removed, they shall order
' that the sign be removed at the date that May be specified in
the order of removal , and in the event the owner, agent or any

time specified by the Board of Aldermen, they or each of them shall
be subject to a fine as hereafter provided. Each and every day
any sign shall be maintained past the time prescribed in the Board
of Aldermen' s order shall constitute a separate and dietihat'

gFCTION 9, Any person, firm, corporation or associa-
tion or persons, their agents, servants or employes violating any
of the protisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a
misdemeanor and upon conviction be fined in any sure not exceed-
ing one hundred (=$100.00-) dollars.
