RE IT ORDA INFD by the Board of Aldermen ,of the City
of Wichita Falls, that ,
WHFREAS, the Board of Aldermen have heretofore order—
ed the improvements of portions of
by resolution, and the City Engineer has in gccorda_nce with in—
structions prepared and filed plans and specifications for such
improvement , and same have been adopted.

That sealed bids for the nkiking and constructing
of the itnproveirents on said streets as defined in the resolution

ordering same and in accordance with plans and specifications
therefor, be received at the office of the office of the City

That the City Secretary be and is hereby instruct—
ed to at once advertise for sealed bids or pro,-orals for the con—
structing of said improvements.
Such advertisement to appear or be inserted in the
Wichita , a newspaper of general circulation in the
City of Wichita Falls, and sha;l run at least twice and s�lall ap—
pear the first time at least fifteen (15 ) days before the date for
receiving bids.
All bids shall be made subject to the teriiis of the
general laws of the State of T exas and the provisicr_s of the hlamr
ter of this city, and the right shall be reserved to reject any
and all bids.

That the condition of the port iorrs of t 'rie st reet s to be
improved endangers the safety of rersons and property �.nd con-
stitutes an urgent public necessity demanding the suspension of
the rules and provisions of law requiring the reading of this
ordinance on three (3) separate days, and the readingcof this ur-
dir.ance on three (3) separate days is hereby by 'unanimous vote of
all the members of the Board dispensed with and t'Liis crdinan :e
shall take effect from and after its passage.
