Resolution Requesting Assistance For Capital Repairs And/Or
Improvements To Castaway Cove Water Park From The Wichita Fall
4B Corporation In The Amount Of $325,000
WHEREAS, the City has recently purchased the Castaway Cove Water Park
from a private investor group; and
WHEREAS, City staff and representatives from AmusementAquatics
Management Group (AMG), the park's operators, have identified a number of capital
repairs and improvements that are needed or would enhance the park's operation; and
WHEREAS, additional funding is required for these capital items and such
expenditures are a 4B Sales Tax-eligible expense.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
An application for funding for Assistance for Capital Repairs and/or
improvements to Castaway Cove Water Park from the Wichita Fall 4B Corporation is
hereby endorsed in the amount of $325,000.
