S.E;CTION I_. That Section 1, of Ordinance iio. 314 be hereby
amended to read as follows :-
"That it shall hereafter be unla%7-ul for any person, owner,
agent or occupant of any premises, to suf4er or permit weeds; or g sses to
grow upon any such premises # or re 11, property, , occupied or unoccupied,in-
cluding that portion in front of salt. premises between the property line
and the curb from the first day cif' June to the first day of October of
each and every year to a greater '�,6ight..::than tcrelve (12) inches on an aver-
age or to grow in rank nro�'usion tY erean"_ and any such premises upon which
any weeds or grasses are, suffered or p.ermitted .-to grow above the said aver-
