And Ordinance to Amend ID Sections Fos. One and Seven of Ordinance
No.349, entitle " An Ordinance Regulating the Construction and
Maintenance of Signs over the Streets, Sidewalks and Alleys of the
Nity of nrtiehita Falls, Texas, and Providing for a Penalty", passed
by the Board of Aldermen on they day of i A.D. I9 , so
as to hereafter read as follows, to-wit:
Be It Ordained by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Y',ichita. Falls :
Section One. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation
or association of persons to erect, or suspend on, across or above
the sidewalks, streets, or alleys within the fire limits of the
City of ighita Falls, as now or he may hereafter be defined, any
kind or character of sign, which projects from the building lire for
a distance greater than six inches, other than a temporary cloth sign
or an illumitating electrical sign; except however, revolving signs
may project from the building line for a distance � greater than
twelve inches.
Section Seven. The applicant for the erection of all signs shall
before the issuance of a permit for the erection of same, pay a fee
of one dollar for each end every sign to be erected.` In addition
thereto a fee eme of one dollar shall 7k-"e charged for the electrical
inspection of all electrical signs erected. ,,'hen completely erected
the City kngineer and City Llectrieian shall ne notified for final
inspection, and they shall issue clearance upon final approval.
