L;;�,T ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALBERNEN OF THE CITY OF rVICHITA FALLS, TEXAS THAT *THE FOLLOWING RULES AND REGULATIONS SHALL BE OBSERVED BY ALL PERSONS WHEN OPERATING AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLES UPON THE STREETS OF THIS CITY ' Se ttion' 1. That when anyone is operating any such vehicle upon any o - ' street in this city and desires to turn from the direct line of traffic or stop while in the line of tra lic,or to go backward he or she shall make such intentions known by meanp , „ of the following signals,and such signals shall be giv� ' in , ' sufficient timo; to give due warning to other traffic in the immediate vicinity: S A.TO TURN TO THE RIGHT. When driving a left hand drive vehicle the left arm shall be extended outward and upward at an angle of about fortyfive degrees with the body and when driving a right hand drive vehicle the right arm shall be extended ## outward and upward at about a fortyfive degree angle with the body. B.TO TURN TO THE LEFT. When driving a left hand drive vehicle the left arm shall be extended outward at approx- imately a right angle with the body and when driving a Tn�hf hand drive vehicle tha right arm shall be extended outward at appry I te3y a i44A angle with the body. G.TOA STOP; When driving a left hand drive vehicle the left arm shall be extended outward and downward at an angle of about fortyfive degrees with the body and when driving a right hand drive vehic the right arm shall be extended e outward and downward it-an angle of about fortyfive degrees with the body. D.-Z GO BACLVARD. The arm nearest the outside shall be extenct'ed outward at nearly a right angle with the body,then the arm so moved that the extended hand will describe a small circle. Section 2. The signals herein described shall be known as "The Official - Traffic Signals for Automotive Vehicles for Wichita Falls, Texas" and no signals other than these shall be recognized as official to be used by drivers of automotive vehicles in this city. Section *. 4That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here- with be and the same are hereby repealed. Section #.5That any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not less that five(,�5.00)dollars nor more than twentyfive($25.00 ) . Section 3. That all persons when operating either commercial or passenger automotive vehicles upon the streets of this City at a rate of speed considerably slower than that maintained and allowed for general traffic on such streets, shall drive such slow moving vehicles as near to the right hand curb as is conveniently possible,thereby leaving the central parts of such streets less unobstructed for the movement of the general traffic.
