-Hr1T t"iHERFJ.11S, On January 3)7, 1909, the City Council of the
City o diehita Falls, Texas, did by ordinance rio.108, grant to
J.A.I.emp and Frank Dell, their associates, successors and as��igns,
a franchise to construct and ooerate a street car line over and
along certain streets in the City of Wichita Falls, ,hick franchise
and ordinance is here referred to, and
the said - . ',`.Hemp and ''r,nh 1-:e1.1 did thereafter
transfer said franchise so granted to them by the said City of
,ichita Falls, to the ,Tichita Falls 'Traction Company, a private
corporation organized under the laws of the State of Texas, and,
rgS the said `Jichita Falls Traction r:;ompany , acting under
said Franchise and Ordinance, constructed the street car line
in the City of `'Iichita falls, Texas, and said franchise is now
in full force and effect by reason thereof, and
(HEREI•S , Under the terms of said ordinance it was specified
that the said 'fraction Corpany should designq.te the streets on
which it desired to construct additional tracks and upon Zvi--ich it
desired to lay tracks, and,
:i'HEREAS , said ':"lichita Falls 'fraction Company has asked per-
mission to extend its -ore:-.ent street car track o as follows, to--1,i.t,-
he��inning at a point .,here -emp Boulevard inte_,sects with
"G't Street, thence in an easterly direction along 'tG'( Street to
Bell 'treet, thence in a northerly direction along Bell Street to
"Pill street, thence in an easterly direction on "FIT street to the

recommend the passage of the attached ordinance and
submit the" same to you for your consideration.
I hereby order that said ordinance be published in full
in the Wichita Falls gaily 'Times with this recommendation,and
further provide that public hearing will be held at 4. P. bi
on the S:4� day of ;ii 19239 at the council Chamber in the
Morgan Building, in the M-1y of Wichita Falls , Texas , at which
time and place any one interested in the provisiondand terms of
said ordinance may appear before the Board of &ldermen and will
be given a full and fair hearing as to any objections or amend-
ments that he may wish to raise or present .

Beginning at a point where =emp Boulevard intervcts with
"G" Street, thence in an easterly direction along "G" street to
Bell Street, thence in a northerly direction along Bell Street to
"F„ street, thence in an easterly direction on "F" Street to the
Intersection of Earrison, thence north on Harrison to the inter-
section of Collins, making connection with the present line at
Collins and Harrison.
1e it is expressly provide that said car line or lines
shall be laid in conformity with the franchise herein-before
-referred to, and all amendments thereto, granted to the said
i.A.Kemp and Frank Kell, on the 27th day of January, 1909, and
the same shall be laid in strict conformity thereto. All of said
work shall be done under the supervision of the City Engineer
of the said Citye shis franchise shall terminate with the
original franchise herein -referred to, of which this is made a :
part,
2. It is further expressly provided that the said 'Fraction
Company shall restore and place in as good condition and state of
repair any and all streets as they are at thn present time that may
be excavated, all at the sole cost and expense of the said Trantion
Company. And any and all pavements that may be cut or excavated
shall be replaced and restored to as good a condition and state of
repair as they :=ere just prior to the said excavation and all of
said work shall be done under the supervision of the City "engineer.
3. It is farther expressly provided that this ordinance
carries provision of Ordinance Zo.257 , repealing that part of
�j original franchise ho.108 and _to.187, of the City of Zichita malls,
Texas.
4. That this ordinance shall 5e in full force and effect
fror1 and after its passage. -
