all resolutions passed in connection with anct per-t.aining
to said Crdinance. Emergency.
Be It Ordained by the .Tsoard of 1'-_1d.errien of the
Cite of lichita malls , Texas,
Section 1. That Crdinance No. 49F and. all reso-
lutions passed in connection �- ith -and pertaining, thereto are
hereby expressly repealed.
Section 2. That the Ylest Texas Construction
Co,..pany, a. corporation duly incorporated. under the laws
of the State of Texas, is hereby expressly released and
discharged from, any and all liability under and by virtue
of said Crdinaance and all resolutions pertainin,- thereto
in corneetion with the laying; anCI construction of cer _,ain
street improvements in, along and upon Scott Avenue be-
tween Seventy feet north of the i4orth property line of
Thirteenth Street and the `,,7ichito Valley railroad tracks,
Lill in the City of ';rich;�,a iv+ ,)lls, Texas, and the contract
between the City of '',Iichita Falls, Texas, and the ';',lest
Texas Construction Company for i;he construction os` s Ki d
street imrrove_:ients is hereby expressly c=aa-celled.
Section 3. 7hereas on account of tht West Texas
Construction Company have no machinery in this city to do
this zork and it onl-,T bein`= four blocks to be paved and
it would be a great expense to the city of 'lichita Falls,
Texas to have it return and pave on y four blocs creates
an urn_:ency and emergency for the Lmediate passage oL this
ordinance �n th_.t the rule requirin, ordinances to be read
on three separate d°:Lys b suspended and th-t t this ordinance
becor_:e effective in..:ediately after its passage and a-o-n-roval
and it is so ordained.
