AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PARAGRAPH ONE OF SECTION
ONE OF ORDINANCE NULLBER 445, PROVIDING FOR RULES,
REGULATIONS AND RATES FOR THE OPERATION AND MANAGEMENT
OF THE WICHITA FALLS WATER DEPARTMENT, AND REPEALING
ORDINANCE NUMBER 531.
BE IT ORDAINED BY TIE BOARD OF ALDERII.H;N OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS: That, Paragraph One of
Section One of Ordinance 445 be amended to read as
follows, to-wit:
The following rates are hereby established and
shall be collected by the Wichita Fall's Water Depart-
ment:
The minimum monthly bill of all flat metered
water service shall be One ($1.00) Dollar, f-or which
amount each customer shall be allowed four thousand
(4000) gallons of water, such amount of water to be
used during the current month.
For a larger consumption, the rate shall be as
follows, to-wit:

Where water service is being furnished on the flat
rate basis at the time of the passage of this Ordinance, the
rate for such service shall be One ($1.00) Dollar per rAonth
otil such time as the water department deems it practicable
to install meters on such services, whereupon, such flat
rate shall immediately cease and the meter rates herein pro-
vided shall apply.
Ordinance Number 531, passed and approved the 5th day
of August, 1924, regulating water rates, is hereby expressly
repealed. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage, and it is so ordained.
