WHEREAS , the Board of Aldermen of
the City of Wichita Falls , Texas , has heretofore by ordinance passed
and anproved on the 2nd day of June , 1924, said ordinance being des-
ignated as Ordinance #523 , levied assessments for the improvement of
a portion of Lee Street , in said City: and
Whereas , it has been brought to the
attention of this Board of Aldermen that a: certain errors have been
made in the names of some of the owners of property abutting on said
portion of said street , and it is the desire of this Board of Aldermen
that such errors be corrected.

The fact that the improvements here-
in mentioned are being, delayed pending the effect of this ordinance , con-
stitutes and c.ceates an urgent necessity renuirinp- that the rules pro-
viding that ordinances be read at more than one meeting and for more
than one time be suspended , and requiring teat this ordinance be passed
and take effect as an emergence measure , and suer, rules are accordingl;,r
suspended, and this ordinance is nassed as an emergenc�7 measure , and
shall be in force and effect imeediately from and after its passage .
