I also hand you an application from the Railroad Company joining Ball Brothers in their request for the vacation of these streets and alleys. l'ir. Tom Smock will come before your Council in person and my secretary, 1yr. Roy E. Carter , will likewise be there. I trust with this information before you that the City Council will find it consistent to grant the application of Ball Brothers. Of course those of us who are making this application understand that should the City Council grant the vacation of these streets and alleys and it be- came necessary at some subsequent date , in the interest of the public good , to open up these streets and alleys , that the City Council has the right to do so and our application is Wade with knowledge of this fact .
