AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION THREE OF
ORDINANCE N0.561 PASSED MARCH 391925
REGULATING VEHICULAR AND PEDESTRIAN
TRAFFIC .AND PROVIDING FOR SAFETY ZONES
AND PRESCRIBING CERTAIN RULES AND
REGULATIONS CONMOLLING AND COVERING
TRAFFIC BY PEDESTRIANS AND VEHICLES IN
THE CITY OF WICHITA FADS BY ELECTRIC
DEVICES, SAFETY ZO IIE S,LIMIT LINES,
TRAFFIC OFFICERS AND SIGNALS BY HAND
AND OTHERWISE AND FIXING A PENALTY AND
PROVIDING MR EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAMED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN,
CITY OF WIC:HIT A FALLS,TEXAS:
SECTION ONE
That paragraph C of Section 3, Ordinance No.
561 shall be amended to read as follows ,to-tit:
"All vehicles shall be parked on the following
named streets; Ohio Street from Sixth Street to
Eleventh Street, Indiana Street from Sixth
Street to Eleventh Street, Scott Street from Sixth
Street to eleventh Street"

That drivers of vehicles may back out from the
curb only on the red light signal, in the district
where the signal system has been installed and
must sound horn,
That limit lines for the parking of cars on
Ohio Street,Indiana Street and Scott Street shall
be painted and all drivers of vehicles on these
streets will observe lines and park within the
designated lines *I an angle of forty-five
degrees;
That traffic on the above named streets shall
be kept as near the center as possible.
SECTION TM
That Paragraph "E" of Section 3, Ordinance
No. 561 shall be changed to read as follows;
"That it shall hereafter be unlawful for say
person between the hours of 8 A.M. and 6 P.M* to
park any vehicle on Ohio Street from' Sixth Street
to Eleventh Street, Indiana Street from Sixth
Street to Eleventh StreetlScott Street f om Sixth

Any person who shall violate any provision of
this ordinance shall be guilty of misdemeanor and
upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine
not exceeding One Hundred Dollars and each and every days'
violation of this ordinance shall constitute a separate
offense.
Whereas the present crowded and congested con-
dition of the traffic on the streete,highways and
portions of streets and highways hereinbefore mentioned
and the constantly increasing vehicular traffic in
the City of Wichita Falls creates a dangerous condition
and a menace to the life and property of the citizens
of this city, thereby making it imperatively necessary
to adopt and enforce the regulations herein prescribed
and this ordinance is and is hereby declared to be an
emergency measure necessary in the ordinary course of
the city's affairs and a measure necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace,health and
safety of the citizens of the city of Wichita Falls
and shall be in force and effect from and after its
passage and five days publication as required by lawl
