No permit shall be issued to any plumber who shall intentionally violate any of the provisions of this ordinance,and provided further the City shall have the Lull auth- ority to disconnect and cut off the sewer line of any property owner or person occupying said property from the city s. ewer ma.inn,for the violation of any of the pro- visions of this ordinance. SECTION 14. Each and every house shall have separate and independent sewers extending three feet out- side of building line, and in no case shall a sewer supply two or mare houses on one lot unless obstructions prevent the construction of a separate sewer line, and in such in- stances an easement to enter said private property must be given before-hand,and then only when in opinion of City Engineer,and Inspector of Plumbing no damage to sewer system will resAlt. SECTION 16. every plumbing fixture installed shall be separately and effectively trapped,and the water seal of all traps properly protected froin syphonage and back pressure by proper ventilation. Traps shall in all in- stances be placed as near the fixture they serve as practic- able, and in no case shall the dist4nee beteieen the water line of trap and the outlet from fixture exceed tw feet. Continuous wastes and vents for traps(by which is meant a combination of piping where the vertical pipe vent is direct- ly continuous with the waste pipe with all horizontal piping eliminated) shall be used when practicable ,but in no case shall trap be placed *ore than twenty-four( 24) inches from the center of vertical stack nor shall the opening receiving such ,trap be placed below the line of the seal of trap. SECTION 17. Water closets shall be constructed of glazed earthen ware,or enameled iron and shall be supplied with water from a tank of not less than four gallons capacity, or flushed by approved device which shall deliver an equal quantity of water at each fliYshing. All water closets shall have traps constructed as a part of the bowl and shall dis- charge by syphonic action,except such closets as may be in- stalled in out-houses or buildings detached from any living quarters.
