BE IT ORDA LNED BY T' : BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF WIC HI TA FALLS , TEXAS
SECTION 1. That it shall hereafter be
unlawful for any person to Ded(�le,hawk or
demonstrate any kind of og4Z4uA Or patent
medicine on the public stree-48 and alleys within
the fire limits as defined in Ordinance No.494 ,
passed and approved the 19th day of 1jay,1924
within the City of Wichita Falls,Texas.
S_rICTION 2. Providing,howevex , the fore-
going article shall not apply to the sale of
any agriculture products grown by the person
offering the same for sale,nor to the sale of
meat,puultry or other articles of food grown
or produced by the party offering the same for
sale.
SECTION 3. Any person violating Section
One of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty
of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be
fined in any sum not less than Teh Dollars or
more than One Hundred Dollgrs.
SECTION 4. The fact that there is now
no ordinance regulating the preventing of
hawking and peddling and demonstrating on the
public streets and alleys within the fire
limits of the City of Wichita Falls,Texas
creates an emergency and an imperative public
necessity requiring the suspension of the rule
requiring ordinances to be read on three
separate days , and that this ordinance go into
effect from and after its passage and publi-
cation as required by law and it is so ordained.
