Resolution Awarding Bid For The City's Estimated Annual
Requirement Of Class S, Curb 8� Gutter, Class C-C, And Flowable Fill
To Pitts Ready Mix In The Estimated Amount Of $296,800 And For
The City's Estimated Annual Requirement Of Class A Ready Mix
Concrete To OK Concrete In The Estimated Amount Of $30,400
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the City's
estimated annual requirement of ready mix concrete and flowable fill; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on January 21, 2010; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase ready mix concrete and
, flowable fill for use by various city departments during the next finrelve-month period.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid for the City's estimated annual requirement of Class S, curb & gutter,
Class C-C and flowable fill is awarded to Pitts Ready Mix in the amount of $296,800; the
bid for the City's estimated annual requirement of Class A ready mix concrete is
awarded to OK Concrete in the amount of $30,400.00; and City staff is authorized to
execute all documents necessary to purchase the aforesaid items in accordance with
the bid specifications.
