Resolution Authorizing City Staff To Execute All Documents
Necessary To Apply For And Accept A Section 5309 Bus And Bus
Facilities Livability Initiative Program Grant From The U.S.
Department Of Transportation And The Federal Transit
Administration For The Construction Of A New Intermodal Downtown
Bus Transfer Hub, Subject To A Local 20% Match Of Up To $875,000
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has identified the need for the construction
of a new intermodal Downtown Bus Transfer Hub; and,
WHEREAS, possible funding for such project may be available from the United
States Department of Transportation and Federal Transit Administration Section 5309
Bus and Bus Facilities Livability Grant Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
City staff is hereby authorized to execute all documents necessary to pursue,
apply for, and accept a Section 5309 Bus And Bus Facilities Livability Initiative Program
Grant From the U.S. Department of Transportation and Federal Transit Administration
for the construction of a new intermodal Downtown Bus Transfer Hub.
