ORDINANCE NO. -a,003
ORDINANCE ANNEXING 15 ACRES OF LAND OUT OF THE M.
CARBAJAL SURVEY, A -44, WICHITA FALLS, WICHITA COUNTY,
TEXAS; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH
THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Planning Division has received a request for annexation; and
WHEREAS, City departments have reviewed such request and finds that such
annexation would not burden City resources in providing service; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that such annexation is in the
public's interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. A tract of land being 15 acres out of the M. Carbajal Survey, A -44,
Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas, described in Field Notes herein included as
attachment "A" and shown on the map included as attachment "B" is hereby annexed
into the City of Wichita Falls.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
