ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, MAKING AN APPROPRIATION IN THE HOTEL /MOTEL
FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $100,000 FOR RENOVATION AND
RESTORATION OF THE LITTLE ADOBE BY THE SHEPPARD AIR
FORCE BASE HERITAGE FOUNDATION; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City desires to support the renovation of the Little Adobe by the
Sheppard Air Force Base Heritage Foundation; and
WHEREAS, this project will promote tourism for Wichita Falls and the
surrounding area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to the 2003 -2004 Hotel /Motel fund
budget the amount of $100,000 to assist the Sheppard Air Force Base Heritage
Foundation in the restoration and renovation of the Little Adobe.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
