ORDINANCE REZONING 2123 BROAD STREET, LOT 15, BLOCK 8,
SIBLEY TAYLOR ADDITION FROM SINGLE FAMILY -2 TO GENERAL
COMMERCIAL ZONING; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO
THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended rezoning 2123
Broad Street, Lot 15, Block 8, Sibley Taylor Addition from Single Family -2 to General
Commercial Zoning; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, deems that the
proposed rezoning of the area hereafter described will be in accordance with the
Comprehensive Land Use Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The property described as 2123 Broad Street, Lot 15, Block 8,
Sibley Taylor Addition, Wichita Falls, Texas, and shown on the attached map,
incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment "A ", shall be rezoned from Single Family -2
to General Commercial zoning.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 4th day of January 2000.
