AN ORDINANCE GRANTING EXTENDED RESERVATION PRIVILEGES
TO THE TEX MEX BASEBALL LEAGUE FOR USE OF THE BASEBALL
FIELD IN SPUDDER PARK AND IN WILLIAMS PARK FOR THEIR
ADULT SUMMER LEAGUE; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO
THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Tex Mex Baseball has requested extended reservation
privileges for the baseball field in Spudder Park and in Williams Park for their adult
summer league that will be open to the public; and
WHEREAS, the league has been granted similar reservation privileges several
times with no significant problems reported.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The Tex Mex Baseball League is hereby granted extended
reservation privileges from March 11 through October 31, 2000 for the baseball field in
Spudder Park and in Williams Park for their adult summer league.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
