ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $242,519 IN FEDERAL FUNDS AND
$9,015 IN STATE FUNDS FOR THE FY 2000 TRANSIT GRANT;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Federal Transit Administration has approved the transit grant for
FY 2000; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to appropriate state and federal funds for capital and
planning expenditures.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Federal funds in the amount of $242,519 and State funds in the
amount of $9,015 are hereby appropriated.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is authorized to enter into all necessary
agreements required to fund the Wichita Falls Transit System.
SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
