Ord 030-2000 3/21/2000ORDINANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION IN THE AIRPORT FUND
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO AMEND THE
CONTRACT WITH URS GREINER WOODWARD CLYDE FOR
ADDITIONAL SERVICES IN THE AMOUNT OF $49,000; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls completed a feasibility study considering
the purchase of Kickapoo Air Park; and
WHEREAS, the study identified some areas that required follow -up
environmental assessment; and
WHEREAS, a property survey is required to complete the grant process.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to amend the contract with URS
Greiner Woodward Clyde for additional services in the amount of $49,000.
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated in the Airport Fund the amount of
$49,000 to accomplish said purposes.
SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
