AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 7599 760 and 761,
PROVIDING FOR THE HOLDING OF AN ELECTION IN THE CITY OF
7,7ICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, FOR THE PURPOSE 0111 SUBMITTING TO THE
QUALIFIED VOTERS OF SAID CITY, WHO ARE PROPERTY TAX PAYERS
THEREIN, THE FOLLOWING PROPOSITIONS: FIRST'": A PROPOSITION
FOR THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS OF SAID CITY IN THE AMOUNT OF
$1,200,000.00, FOR THE PURPOSE OF EXTENDING THE WATER WORM
SYSTEM IN SAID CITY: SECOND: A PROPOSITION FOR THE ISSUANCE
OF BONDS OF SAID CITY IN THE A11OUNT OF $150,000.00, FOR THE
PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING PERMANENT STREI�T IMPROVEIkEENTS IN
SAID CITY: THIRD: A PROPOSITION FOR THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS
OF SAID C I"Y IN THE AMOUNT OF $100,000-00? FOR THE PURPOSE
OF RAISING FUNDS TO PAY THE COST OF EXTENDING AND IMPROVING
THE SANITAP,Y S WMAGE SYSTE " IN SAID CITY AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
That Ordinance No. 759, providing for the holding
of an election in. the Uity of dichita I'alls, 'rexas, for the
purpose of submitting to the qualified voters of said City,
who are property tax payers therein, a proposition for the
issuance of bonds of said city in the amount of c-1,200,000.00
for the purpose of extending the water works system in said
city, and levying a tax on all taxable property in said city
to pay the principal and interest on said bonds, heretofore
kassed and approved on the 3rd day of Iday, 1926; and
Ordinance No. 760 providing for the holding of an election
in the City of �dichita r'a.11s, for the purpose of submitting
to the qualified voters of said city who are property tax-
payers therein, a proposition for the issuance of bonds of said
city in the amount of x150, 000.00, for the purpose of con-
structing permanent street improvements in said city and
levying a tax on all taxable property in said city to pay the
principal and interest of said bonds, and declaring an emer-
gency, heretofore passed and approved on the 3rd day of May,
1926; and Ordinance No. 761, providing; for tiro holding of an
election in the city of dichita Falls for the purpose of sub-
:nitting to the qualified voters of s€ id city who are property
taxpayers therein, a proposition for the issuance of bonds of
said city in the amount of x;100,000.00, for the purpose of
raising funds to pay the cot of extending and improving: the
sanitary seiverage system in said city, and levying a tax on
all taxable property in said city, to pay the principal and
interest of said bonds and declaring an emergency, be, and are
hereby repealed.
