ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTION 5 -59 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES WHICH PROHIBITS GIVING ANIMALS AS PRIZES
OR INDUCEMENTS; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Notre Dame Spring Festival will be held at the Funland
Amusement Park, 2006 Southwest Parkway on May 13, 2000; and
WHEREAS, the Notre Dame Spring Festival would like to give goldfish as prizes
in their festival booth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Section 5 -59 of the Code of Ordinances is hereby waived during
the Notre Dame Spring Festival event May 13, 2000, at the Funland Amusement Park
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
