AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORD INKCE NO. 764, PASSED
AND APPROVED ON THE 10th DAY OF MAY, 1926, ENTITLED "AN
ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE HOLDING OF AN ELECTION IN
THE CITY OF Z ICHI TA FALLS? TEXAS, FOR THE PURPOSE OF
SUELITT ING TO THE QUALIFIED VOTERS OF SAID CITY, WHO ARE
PROPERTY TAXPAYERS THEREIN, A PROPOS IT ION FOR THE ISSUANCE
OF BONDS OF SAID CITY IN THE AIJYT Q 150,000.00, FOR THE
PURPOSE OF CONSTh CTING PERIS15ENT STREET IMPROVEITE TTS IN
SAID CITY AND LEVYING A TAX ON ALL TAXABLE P'R0 ERTY IN SAID
CITY TO PAY THE PRINCIPAL A1,E) INTEREST OF SAID BONDS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERLEIT OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FAILS, TEXAS:
Section I: That from and after the, passage of
this Ordina-lce, Ordinance to. 764, passed on the 10th day of
k[ay, 1926, an Ordinance entitled "An Ordinance providing
for the holding of an election in the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified voters
of said City, who are property taxpayers therein, a proposition
for the issuaneeof bonds of said City in the amount of One
hundred and Fifty Thousand .Dollars, (4150,000.00), for the
purpose of constructing permanent street improvements in the
said City, and levying a tax on all taxable property in said
City, to pay the principal aidint erect of said bonds," shall
hereafter be repealed, and -shall be of no further force and
effect.
