RELIEF FUND, PROVIDING FOR ITS J'_W,`INISTRA-
TION AND MCL `.RING ''ET!"ERGENCY.
BE I'f ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF :LDER "EN OF' THE CITY

Sect'on 1. There is hereby created a special Relief
Fund mil ich shall be imolrr_ and designated as the Police Relief Fund..
Section 2. Said special Relief Fund shall be ad-
mir.istered by the Ylayor,City Clerk and Chief of Police of the City
of ''iichita Falls who shall be solely responsible both individually
and collectively for the proper receipt and disbu.rsen.ent of all
moneys or values accruing to s�--id fund. The Surety Bond of the City
Clerk shall be indorsed to cover and rrotect the contributors to
and those benefittdd by the said Polied Relief Fund.
Section 3. All valid. claims against said fund shall be
signed and svrorn to by the claimant thereof,'aY)r,roved by the Chief
of Police f he City of T7ichit�. Falls before voucher is dreg°rn

Section 1. T1 -e depcmitory bf said fund shall be a bank
in '"ich.ita County,Texas and shall be designated by the City Clerk
or 1-Tayor of s<,,Ad City.
Section 5. Only injured or sick employees of Police
Department of the City of ",'ichita Falls,who are contributing to'said
fund at the time of said injury or sickness shall pc:rticipate in
the Jenefitc derived from said special Relief Fund.
Section o. The expense.,such as stationery and supplies
necessary for the actual administration of s -id Relief Fund shall
be paid out of sf;_id fund and no salaries or other expenses shall be
paid out of srid fund,except the expense of entertai=;��nts when the
proceeds are deposited in said fund,and the traveling expenses of
officers who are sent out of the City of "Ji chita Fells for criminals
where rewrds for the apprehension of s :id criminals are collected
and dgnosited in said Relief Fund.
