AN ORDINANCE ANNEXIING 8.91 ACRES OF LAND OUT OF THE J. R.
MCDOWELL SURVEY, ABSTRACT 194, AT THE REQUEST OF THE
PROPERTY OWNER; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO
THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the owner of property herein described has requested annexation;
and
WHEREAS, City departments have reviewed such request and find that such
annexation would not burden City resources in providing services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. 8.91 acres of land out of the J.R. McDowell Survey, Abstract 194,
described by field notes and map herein included as Attachment A and Attachment B,
is annexed into the City.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.

BEGINNING at a point in the West line of the J. R. McDcwell Survey Abstract 194, S 00° 47'09" W
225.0 feet from its Northwest comer, said point being in the center of Crestview Memorial Road in the
existing City Limit of Wichita Falls, Texas, for the Northwest comer of this tract;
THENCE S 89° 08' 00" E with the existing City Limit Line of Wichita Falls, Texas, a distance of 501.36
feet to a point for the Northeast corner of this tract;
