ORDINANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION IN THE SPECIAL REVENUE
FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $29,003 FROM AN OUTDOOR OUTREACH
GRANT FROM TEXAS PARKS & WILDLIFE DEPARTMENT FOR THE "GREAT
OUTDOORS" PROGRAM; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING
AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City has been awarded an Outdoor Outreach Grant in the
amount of $29,003 from the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department for outdoor activities at
Arrowhead and Copper Breaks State Parks; and
WHEREAS, the City's matching share is $13,242 in in -kind resources; and
WHEREAS, grant funds require appropriation action by the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The grant funds from the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department in the
amount of $29,003 for the "Great Outdoors" program is hereby appropriated in the
Special Revenue Fund.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
