Upon the payment of said tax the C:_i.ef of Police or his cluly

dog, the dog may run at large in the city , provided said dog, shell also
while running at larg:; be securely muzzled by its owner or keey)er so as
to -orevent it from being able to bite anyone. But in no event shall
the Chief of Police or his duly authorized agent issue a license tag to
any owner or keeper of a dog, male or fe _,ale, unless and until such owner
or keeper shall furnish a vaccination certificate iss,Led by a licensed
Veterinarian statim that such dog or dogs have been vaccinated against
rabies�
14_w 1. All dogs vi -thin the city of Uichita Falls, Texas, are hereby
required to be vaccinated G g .inst rebies by sor.le licensed veterinarian
on or before January 1st. 1927 and each year ther-eafter and it is fur-
ther provided herein that every Veterinarian rho vaccinates any such dog

or female, f ail to.edeey& thf.; same as provided for in paragraph
(a) of this section within the forty eight hours then;'aid do or dogs,
shall be advertised and srld or killed in the manner provided
for in thisrdinance. It shall be tn.e duty of the Chief of Police
and duly authorized Dog Catcher to see that the terms of this ordina:lce
are strictly enforced, provided however, that the terms of this ord-

have the right to shoot or kill any rabid dog or any dog in the streets
which shall manifest a disposition to bite.
