BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDEFE 1T OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:

SECTIM 1: That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 274
passed by the Board of Aldermen and approved by the
,,T_ayor of the City of Wichita :falls, Texas, on January
15th, 1920, be, and the same is hereby aiiended to read
hereafter as follows:
SECTION 3: It shall be the duty of' the City
Health Oi'fieer to examine &li persons who apply to him
for examination for the employment of work in all food
products establishments, and to issue to each such per—
son so exa,lined who may be free from all contaoeous,
communicable or infectious diseases, a, certificate to
that effect, upon the payment of a. fee of fifty cents
(JO¢) for such examination, and said. certificate, whether
issued by the City Health Officer or other reputable
physicians, shall authorize the person named therein to
accept employment or wor�L in or about any food products
establishment for a period of three months from the date
thereof; provided that the Board of Health or its duly
authorized representatives
may
require
all such
persons
to be re—exa}_pined as often
and
at such
tines as
in its
or their opinion may be necessary and imperative for the
preservation and protection of public health, and to
cancel any certificate previously issued should the
holder thereof upon reexamination made by the City
Health Officer be found to be affected with any con-
tageous, communicable or infectious disease; provided
further that no fee shall be charged for such reexam-
ination made by the City Health Officer within three
months from the date of the previous exwiinati on; and
provided further that all fees collected for such cer-
tificate by the City Health Officer shalt be and con-
stitute a special fund for the Department of Health,
to be applied only to the maintenance and expenses of
said department.
Provided that such City Health 0'f icer or other
reputable physician shall not issue the certificate
above provided for until the applicant furnishes satis-
factory evidence that his blood has been subjected to
or to the Serum diaMn.osis of Syphilis by preciroitation

a person qualified to make such test, and that such test
shows negative. And provided further that the holders
of such certificates shall have their blood tested each
and every six months for the period of time they are
employed in suc food establishments in the City of

Any physician or other person in the City* of
Wichita Falls, Texas, who makes a diagnosis in, or treats,
a case of syphilis, gonorrhea or cha ncroid, and every
superintendent or manager of a hos.Pital, dispensary, or
charitable or renal institution, in "hich there is a. case
of venereal disease, shall report such case im:,,fiediately,
in writing-, to the local health officer, stating the name
and address or the office number, a�;e, s":;_, color, and
occupation of the diseased :person, and the date of the
onset of the disaase, and the probable source of in-
fection, as required by Article 4411,5, Section 1, Revised
Civil Statutes of the State of Texas, 1925,
