SECTION 1: The Texas Pipe Line Carpany, its
assigns and successors, are hereby granted the right,
power, iprivilere and fr'„nc�iise to construct, maintain,
and operate telephone and telegraph lines over, under,
upon and across certain streets and alleys in said city,

Starting at Sixth Street in the alley betin,een
Scott and Indiana. Streets, extendinf° in an Easterly di-
rection to Twelfth Street; T'iEI'CE East along Twelfth
Street to Ohio Avenue; THEIiCE South a,lanc.; Ohio Avenue

It is understood and agreed that the
said Company shall be allowed to maintain and operate the

SECTION 4: The said. Texas Pipe Line Company
by accepting this franchise agrees to hold the City harm-
less for any and all da:-nages to property or persons by
reason of the building, maintaining and operating of s ald
pole line and said telephone and tele graph lines along
the streets and alleys as above described.
SECTION ; And the said Company further agrees
and obligates itself to maintain and operate said lines
in such manner as not to interfere with tiaffic on said
streets and alleys or with the use of private -property
adjoining suca lines.
SECTION 6; This franchise is granted subject to
all the terms and ;provisions of the charter of the City
of Wichita Falls adopted a..Ja,rch -�Oth, 1920, and contained
in Sections 121 to Section 128, inclusive.
SECTI21'7: As a part cons ideratiOn for this
franchise, the City of 7ichi.ta Falls she,11 have tlhe T)riv�-
ilege of usin,;, said pole line for its police and fire
ala -1--i wire, it being under :food th ;,t such wires shall be
so placed as not to unnecessarily interfere t?ith the
vires of the said Texas Pipe Line Ca.pany.
SECTION 8: This franchise shall E;o into ei-_ect
upon its final passa,ue and acceptance by said Texas Pipe

Your petitioner respectfully prays for
franchise covering a period of ten (10)
years from date for pole line to be operated
in first class condition, and for at least
two 10 -pin cross arms, carrying twenty wires,
and for a greater number if found necessary
for the use of your petitioner.
It is desired that said franchise ue
granted for a line starting at Sixth Street
in the alley between Scott and Indiana Streets,
extending in an easterly direction to Twelfth
Street; thence East along Twelfth Street to
Ohio Avenue; thence South along Ohio Avenue
to Barwise Street; thence East on Barvaise Street
to ana across the Y,. K. & T. Railroad Company's
and Wichita Valley Railroad Oompany's yards
to the cavle pole or the Southwestern Bell Tele-
phone C ompa-uY .
