BE IT -ORDAINED BT THT: BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE OTTY OF WICHITA FALLS, T`TTXAS:
SECTION 1: That Section 10 of Ordinance No.
236, passed and approved on the 11th day of JURM.ary, A.D.
1917, be, and the same is hereby amended to hereafter
read as follows, to -wit:
SECTION 10: All restaurants shall maintain
for the use of the cooks, helpers and others engaged
in the preparation and cooking of food, cuspidors, ample
and sanitary toilet facilities for each se=, and washing
facilities, with towels and soap to enable those so em—
ployed to keep their hangs and person clean.
All such places shall be equipped with a sink
which shall be convected with the sanitary sewer system
of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, if such establish-
ment is located within two hundred feet of any sanitary
sewer.
NO common towel shall be maintained in any
lavatory.
SECTS 2: The fact that there is now no ordi-
nance requiring that restaurants and food establishments
connect sinks to the sanitary sewer system creates an
emergency and. necessity, an th--t the rule req,. icing
the reading and passing of ordinances on three separate
days be suspended, and the same is hereby susaended and
this ordinance shal take effect from and after its
passage and &pproval.
