"AN JRDINANCE ,_Ac,ING APPROPRIATION FOR THE SUPPORT OF THE CITY
GOVERNMENT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING APRIL 1ST, 1927, AND
ENDING ?VURCH 31ST, 1928, AND DECLARING AN EIFIERGENCY; PASSED AND
PPROVED BY DIE BOARD OF ALDERI:aN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS
ON THE 2ND DAY OF MAY, 1927 • It
i-HEREAS, in the adoption of Ordinance No. 900 making
appropriation for the support of the city government for the
fiscal year beginning April lsta 1927, and ending March 51st,
1928, the sur, of �j1b,bOU.00 was appropriated for the Uity's
portion of the cost of operation of the '�dichita General Hospital,
and,
21ERAS, it has developed that an appropriation of
15,bOU.00 is insufficient to pay the City's portion of the
cost of operation of said liospital, and,
{HEREAS, it is necessary that an additional 45,000.00
be appropriated for the support of said Hospital for said
fiscal year, and,
WHEREAS, there is an unappropriated balance of
,5,0uU.UO in the general r'und at this time, WHEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDER <IEN OF THE CITY
OF 1"TICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The sum of t,5,00U.UU is hereby approp-
riated out of the General Fund to cover additional expense of
the Wichita General Hospital for tine fiscal year beginning
April lst, 1927, and ending .";arch Ulst, 1928.
SECTION 2• This ordinance shall not invalidate any
part of Urdinance \To. 9UO passed and approved on the 2nd day
of,.,ay 1927, but shall be cumulative thereto and shall 'be in
full force and effect from and after its passage.
