SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 939, passed and approved
on April loth, 1928, be, a_?d- the saoie is '_Hereby amended so as
hereafter to read- as foliotrs, to wit:
SECTION 1.
The City?ana.uer of t �e City of 77iezita Falls, Texas, is
hereby desi`na.ted ani. appointed as custodian of the :!Memorial
Auditorium, belonJin- to the City of A1ic11_it, . Falls, Texas.
SECTION 2.
Thaw said custodian is hereby authorized to ao-ooint and,
employ such cements, servants and employees as s,re necessary to
to aid and assist him in carrying out his duties as such custo-
dian.
SECTI OT•; 3.
The said custodian is hereby authorized, and. it is --, a.de

For any use not mentioned herein, the rates shall be
fixed by the Custodian.
SECTION, 4:
All the rental contr0,cts for said Auditorium shall be
made 'hrouJh the City Clerk's Office, and a public record
thereof kept in a. book provided. for that purpose in said
office, which said record shc-11 show the name o --F' the lessee,
the date of the execution of such lease, the use to 77hich said
Auditorium is to be -put, -,nd the day and date of such use. And_
before said Auditorium is leased for any particular day or date,
the person rentinT or .leasing• same sh;�11_ be reg_ ired to deposit
with the City Clerk fifty per cent of the schedule charJe for
the time sane. is to be used, and the balance to be paid before
the Auditorium is used.'�(Provided that either party imcay cancel
such bookinD, lease and rental contracts ^.t any time rior to
two weeks before tie said <sud_itorium is to be used under such
contract, and in the event such contracts are cancelled, then
the ca:s l deposit shall be return ed. to the party making same.
SECTION 5:
All funds shall be collected by the Cit Cler'.c a. d
deposited_ in the General land.
SECTION 2: The fact that the -oresent Ordinance of the
City of 67ich.ita Falls does not require a., record to be ','e-ot of
lease contracts on the ";.1'emorin.1 Auditorium, and does not re-
quire that a cash d.eoosit be made upon such rental contracts,
creates an emerency requi.rin'- the suspension of the rule that
ordinances be read on three separate days, and_ such rule is
hereby suspended, and this Ordinance sh!,ll take effect imme-
diately upon its -oassa�e and approval.
