ORDINANCE REZONING THE SOUTH 133.67 FEET OF LOT 9, BLOCK
19, SECOND SUPPLEMENT, FOUNTAIN PARK 2A1, A/K/A 2916
RADNEY LANE, WICHITA FALLS TX, FROM SINGLE FAMILY -1 TO
MULTIFAMILY RESIDENTIAL AND AMENDING THE LAND USE PLAN;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended rezoning the
south 133.67 feet of Lot 9, Block 19, Second Supplement, Fountain Park 2A1, A/K/A
2916 Radney Lane, Wichita Falls TX, from Single Family -1 to Multifamily Residential;
and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission acknowledged that conditions
in the proposed area have changed and recommended amending the Comprehensive
Land Use Plan, an element of the Comprehensive Plan, to conform to this rezoning;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, deems that the
proposed rezoning of the area hereafter described, and amending the Comprehensive
Plan to reflect this change, will be in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The Land Use Plan, an element of the Comprehensive Plan for the
City of Wichita Falls, Texas is hereby amended for the south 133.67 feet of Lot 9, Block
19, Second Supplement, Fountain Park 2A1, A/K/A 2916 Radney Lane, Wichita Falls
TX. Said property is shown on the attached map, incorporated in this ordinance as
Attachment "A." Said property land use designation in the Comprehensive Plan shall
be changed to High Density Residential.
SECTION 2. Said property being the same as described in Section 1 of this
ordinance is hereby rezoned from Single Family -1 to Multifamily Zoning.
SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
