ORDINANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION IN THE GENERAL FUND
IN THE AMOUNT OF $8,000 FOR THE PURCHASE OF A
REPLACEMENT HEMATOLOGY CELL COUNTER FOR THE
LABORATORY DIVISION OF THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT; FINDING
AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the requested instrument is essential to the current clinical
laboratory operation in the Health Department; and
WHEREAS, the current instrument is unreliable and irreparable; and
WHEREAS, the purchase of this replacement item could not have been
anticipated for inclusion in the FY 2000 -2001 Budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated in the General Fund $8,000 for the
purchase of a Hematology Cell Counter for the Laboratory Division of the Health
Department.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
